Situated on the first line of Praia da Rocha, about 1km from the center of Portimão and 60km from Faro Airport, Hotel Santa Catarina Algarve, 3 stars, provides a family environment to its guests.

Located in front of the casino in Praia da Rocha has, about 50 meters, a wide and famous entertainment area of bars and nightclubs. The hotel is equipped with three elevators, one of them panoramic. Of the 70 rooms, 33 have sea views and the remaining 37 have land view. The Hotel has two rooms equipped for disabled people and their respective accesses. The city has a long history as a fishing port (the Romans already used its natural Bay), having developed in recent decades, as the rest of the Algarve as a tourism center, presenting a wide range of offers not only at the level of "Sun and Beach", but as well as in entertainment, trade and gastronomy.

It became a popular holiday destination due in particular to the famous Praia da Rocha, with beautiful golden sands, small bays and rocks. Portimão is also ideal for those who enjoy fishing for large fish (for example, swordfish). It also allows the practice of water sports such as jet skiing, sailing, windsurfing and diving with support from the coastline. Currently Praia da Rocha offers entertainment throughout the season.

Situated on the ground floor of the Hotel, the Restaurant stand out for menus based on Algarve's cuisine characterized as a cuisine with strong Mediterranean roots where we find the bread, olive oil, garlic, wine, herbs, fish, meat, vegetables, legumes and fruits. It is a very rich and simple cuisine.

Thus, stresses the importance of sardines, tuna, horse mackerel, rock barnacle, shrimp, lobster as well as bivalves (clams, cockles, clams and razor shells) among other species with which we cook wonderful recipes.

The Algarve's cuisine is the cuisine where the products of the land and the sea come together harmoniously.
